It is required by law that all car owners must have some form of auto insurance. This protects not only the owner but other people on the road and pedestrians too. Let’s discuss the various types of auto insurance.

The first type is called liability insurance. This covers any damage your vehicle may do in an accident or collision. The second type is property insurance which protects the owner’s car from damage or theft. Finally, there is medical insurance, which covers the cost of medical injuries as well as lost wages and death.

As you can see, auto insurance is very important. Also if you are getting a loan on a new vehicle, you may have to get comprehensive insurance as per terms of the loan. This is the most expensive insurance and will cover liability, property, and medical.
